No June Half Marathons in Arkansas

No half marathons currently planned anywhere across the state of Arkansas in June.  Average High temperatures range across the state from 83 to 92 in the month of June.  However, there are half marathons in June in 3 neighboring states, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Mississippi, for those up for a drive.

Arkansas Half Marathons in May

Two half marathon events set to take place in the state of Arkansas in May.  The Peace Love Goodwill Half Marathon takes place in Little Rock on May 13th.  The course is a great water front route along the Arkansas River, and crosses Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Bridge along the course.  Average highs in Little Rock for May are low 80's.  The current forecast is looking to be sunny & nice, and high of 78 for the 13th.  The following week, the Boys & Girls Club of Malvern & Hot Springs County hosts a half marathon in Malvern, Arkansas on Saturday May 20th.  The course is not flat by any means, and has several out and back sections throughout the out and back type course.  The forecast is looking to be 86 degrees that day, for a high, with a chance of strong thunderstorms.

Race Review for Half Marathons in Arkansas

Runners Get'n Ready for Little Rock Marathon and Half Marathon

Lots of runners and walkers get'n ready for the Little Rock Marathon and half marathon tomorrow!  Many excited for the big cool medal, and many having fun meeting friends from across the nation!  

Fifty States Half Marathon Club members had a great turn out at Ciaos Italian Restaurant in Little Rock, Arkansas, with members from across the USA and Canada!

Inaugural Arkansas Half Marathon Kicking Off in April - Russvegas

A new half marathon is coming to town!  The new Russvegas Half Marathon & Relay is set to kick off this April 26, 2014 in Russellville, Arkansas.  The event is official walker friendly by Halfmarathonsearch.com standards (allowing a minimum of 4 hours to finish), and is even having its own category "walker division"!  The finish line will have music, food and vendors, and all finishers will receive a 3.5 inch medal.

The event will also benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital and Pope County Circle of Friends.

Hogeye Half Marathon April 2012 Event
