Arkansas Half Marathons in May
Two half marathon events set to take place in the state of Arkansas in May. The Peace Love Goodwill Half Marathon takes place in Little Rock on May 13th. The course is a great water front route along the Arkansas River, and crosses Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Bridge along the course. Average highs in Little Rock for May are low 80's. The current forecast is looking to be sunny & nice, and high of 78 for the 13th. The following week, the Boys & Girls Club of Malvern & Hot Springs County hosts a half marathon in Malvern, Arkansas on Saturday May 20th. The course is not flat by any means, and has several out and back sections throughout the out and back type course. The forecast is looking to be 86 degrees that day, for a high, with a chance of strong thunderstorms.
